Reiki and Restorative Yoga Workshop

 Restorative yoga enables deep relaxation as you hold poses for longer periods of time with the help of props to completely support you. It also helps you to regain calm balance and soothe tired muscles.

Reiki translates as: spiritually guided life force energy. Energy can become stagnant when there has been physical or emotional injury or pain. Reiki helps to remove these areas of stagnation, improving energy flow, providing relaxation, and reducing stress
This workshop is being held by Karen Zaun Kennedy and Janice Narey. While Karen leads participants into restorative yoga poses, Janice will provide Reiki while the poses are held. The workshop is limited to 12 participants, and the fee is $30.

$15.  The Northeast Kingdom Backcountry Coalition (NEKBC), a chapter of the Catamount Trail Association, has worked closely with the Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation to create a new backcountry ski destination on Mount Hor, above magnificent Willoughby Lake. While many have enjoyed the groomed cross-country trails in this section of the Willoughby State Forest, the NEKBC has helped to make the steeper terrain more accessible to backcountry skiers. Bring a bag lunch, hot thermos, and plenty of warm layers, as well as alpine touring gear.

 Join us at XIP Training Systems, in the heart of Lyndonville for Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa Flow Classes. The word Hatha means willful or forceful and can be translated as "ha" – sun, and "tha" – moon. This in turn references the balance between the masculine aspects (active, hot, sun) with the feminine aspects(receptive, cool, moon) within all of us. Hatha yoga draws inspiration from a wide range of yoga styles and backgrounds. This style of yoga joins asanas (physical postures) with pranayama (breath), creating an internal flow for the practice. These classes work on balancing strength and flexibility in our physical bodies while also drawing our attention to our breath in order to help us still the fluctuations of the mind and be more present in the unfolding of each moment. Not sure what to expect from a class? Our Hatha Yoga classes are all levels classes lasting for 75 minutes. Bring a mat or use one of ours. Wear loose, comfortable clothing that you can easily move in. A Hatha Yoga class is both a great place to begin as well as to challenge yourself!

Reiki and Restorative Yoga Workshop

 Restorative yoga enables deep relaxation as you hold poses for longer periods of time with the help of props to completely support you. It also helps you to regain calm balance and soothe tired muscles.
Reiki translates as: spiritually guided life force energy. Energy can become stagnant when there has been physical or emotional injury or pain. Reiki helps to remove these areas of stagnation, improving energy flow, providing relaxation, and reducing stress
This workshop is being held by Karen Zaun Kennedy and Janice Narey. While Karen leads participants into restorative yoga poses, Janice will provide Reiki while the poses are held. The workshop is limited to 12 participants, and the fee is $30.

This in turn references the balance between the masculine aspects (active, hot, sun) with the feminine aspects(receptive, cool, moon) within all of us. Hatha yoga draws inspiration from a wide range of yoga styles and backgrounds. This style of yoga joins asanas (physical postures) with pranayama (breath), creating an internal flow for the practice. These classes work on balancing strength and flexibility in our physical bodies while also drawing our attention to our breath in order to help us still the fluctuations of the mind and be more present in the unfolding of each moment. Not sure what to expect from a class? Our Hatha Yoga classes are all levels classes lasting for 75 minutes. Bring a mat or use one of ours. Wear loose, comfortable clothing that you can easily move in. A Hatha Yoga class is both a great place to begin as well as to challenge yourself!

Kingdom All Stars

The Kingdom All Stars team of student musicians was featured live in concert this year in the Vermont State House, on Vermont Public Radio and at the Rising Star Showcase at Lyndon State College. Members come from nine public and private schools in northeastern Vermont.

The band features six new members this year, including the first ever from Danville. Their music is a blend of popular and rock music with its roots in blues, R&B, gospel and country music.

The Kingdom All-Stars have been featured on WCAX Channel 3 and Fox 44 television, The Caledonia County Fair, Somersworth International Children's Festival, and the Discover Jazz Festival in Burlington.

The Shanghai Opera Symphony Orchestra

The Shanghai Opera Symphony Orchestra was established in 1956 along with the construction of the famous Shanghai Opera House. The Orchestra is renowned for its interpretation of classical symphony repertoire, performing the masterpieces of the world’s most historic composers.

The Lyndonville program will include Rossini’s Il Barbiere de Siviglia – Overture, Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto in D Major, Opus 35 and Dvorak’s New World Symphony (Symphony No. 9 in E Minor Op. 95).

The Orchestra has been conducted by renowned maestros such as Daniel Oren, Lorin Maazel, John Nelson, Thomas Sanderling, Markus Stenz, Zoltan Kocsis, Maurice Peress and Jan Latham-Koenig. The Orchestra has toured to Finland, Italy, UK, Germany, Hong Kong and Macao. This 2019 USA tour will be the Shanghai Opera Symphony’s debut at the concert halls of North America.

This in turn references the balance between the masculine aspects (active, hot, sun) with the feminine aspects(receptive, cool, moon) within all of us. Hatha yoga draws inspiration from a wide range of yoga styles and backgrounds. This style of yoga joins asanas (physical postures) with pranayama (breath), creating an internal flow for the practice. These classes work on balancing strength and flexibility in our physical bodies while also drawing our attention to our breath in order to help us still the fluctuations of the mind and be more present in the unfolding of each moment. Not sure what to expect from a class? Our Hatha Yoga classes are all levels classes lasting for 75 minutes. Bring a mat or use one of ours. Group Conditioning Classes





6-7am class and 5:30-6:30pm class.  Group conditioning classes are designed with the time frugal and health conscious individual in mind. These classes will begin with a comprehensive warm-up followed by strength, power, conditioning, agility or flexibility. The program implemented will
be designed with the needs of group in mind not the individual. As the group grows and develops so will the program.
