Community members are invited to join the Burke Mountain Club at a family night. There will be games and entertainment, including singers from the Vermont Children's Theater, and a barbeque at 6 p.m. The Club will provide hot dogs and hamburger; sides and desserts are by potluck.
The Burke Mountain Clubhouse was built be Elmer Darling in the 1920s to serve as a community center and library. The Burke Mountain Club was established soon thereafter to maintain the building and the grounds.
