Advance your own background in science as well as your ability to teach others! This professional development opportunity is geared towards 3rd-8th grade science teachers, but is open to all. Come strengthen your understanding of weather, climate, and the northern forest – and the connection between them. NorthWoods environmental educators will model a weather-themed engineering task, and participants will leave with an engineering kit to bring back to the classroom with the resources to engage their students – aligned with Next Generation standards. Training features Professor Bruce Berryman of Lyndon State College.
