The Echo Lake Road Race is a classic run and bike to help support a good cause – Orleans County Citizen Advocacy. Dirt roads around Echo Lake offer up some great running and biking. We’re adding a swim of 1 mile or 3 miles on one of the most pristine lakes in all of North America to help support another good cause, the Echo Lake Association. We are separating the run and the bike. It’s safer. But it also allows participants to do both. The swim the next day is all new. Taken together they offer an opportunity to do all three as part of a stage triathlon. Online registration now open.
Here’s what we got:
Saturday, August 23rd, 2014 8:30 AM – The Run – Walk – 5 miles or 10 miles (Double Loop). Picnic Lunch. 1:00 PM – The Bike – 10 Miles (Double Loop) 5 miles (single loop)
Sunday, August 24, 2014 9:00 AM – The Swim – 1 Mile or 3 Miles
20% of all registration fees on the run and the bike events go directly to OCCA to support its mission.
Location: Echo Lake, Charleston VT
