The Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) employed millions of young men between 1933 and 1942, at the height of the Great Depression, and left a legacy of parks, roads, trails and forests across America. Using historical photos, maps and journals as well as contemporary images, Northwoods Trails Director, Luke O'Brien, will discuss the CCC legacy in northern Vermont and highlight many of the projects still found throughout the region today.
