Owls: Silent Predators of the Night with Kurt Valenta of Exordium

June 1, 2017  |   6:00 PM

The presentation will take a close-up look at one of the most relentless predators of the skies. The owl has a mystical reputation. It is silent in flight with unrivaled hewing and sight. It can hunt in total darkness, catching prey with uncanny consistency. And it can deliver messages to fledgli ng wizards (just kidding)! We will learn to distinguish fact from fiction as we gain a better understanding of this majestic bird.
Kurt Valenta is founder and president of Exordium, a nature and outdoor education organization providing outdoor learning experiences for the young and young-at-heart
