Check in at the Nordic Adventure Center and then head out on a torchlit trail for a self guided ski, fatbike or snowshoe to a fire and hot chocolate as well as star gazing with Fairbanks Museum staff!
For this special torchlit trail experience, the Fairbanks Museum staff will be on site to guide you through the brightest objects at dusk, being the planet Mars in January and then search out familiar constellations. Museum educator Bobby Farlice-Rubio will tell some of the myths associated with those constellations as we wait for the moon to rise and hope to glimpse some of its craters through a telescope.
A great outing for any age!
