The Burke Conservation Commission (BCC) will be planting a streamside buffer along the East Branch of the Passumpsic River on Sat April 28th. The work will be done on the property of 3 landowners who have given permission for this project. We have enlisted volunteers from the community and area schools to participate.
Anyone interested in joining us can meet at the Darling Memorial Park playground (on RT 114 north of the village) at 9AM.
This is a joint project of the BCC and the Caledonia County Natural Resources Conservation District funded by a grant from the VT Watershed Grants which is funded by the Vermont Conservation license plates.
Location: Darling Memorial Park playground (on RT 114 north of the village)
