Celebrate the end of the summer youth Corps season with crews and their families. Corps members will go head-to-head in the annual corps olympics, using skills they’ve mastered over the last two months to compete in events like the spike drive, the rock bar race, the log toss, the wheelbarrow relay, the tug-of-war, and the tea boil. Individuals will present on their education projects and share the conservation work completed by their crew at sites from the beaches of Long Island Sound and the Gulf of Maine to the mountains and lakes of the great North Woods. All are invited to come celebrate with these teens, cheer on the competitors, learn about a summer’s worth of good work, and eat some great food.
Location: NorthWoods Stewardship Center, 154 Leadership Drive, East Charleston, VT
