The Village Sport Shop and Liv/Giant will be hosting 2 days of events encouraging and empowering women in the sport of biking! On SUNDAY, MAY 20th, Lauren from Giant Bicycles will lead a BASIC BIKE SKILLS CLINIC at the log yard parking area in East Burke. Following the skills clinic there will be a FREE BIKE DEMO and group rides. The demo will be set up from 12:00 - 4:00. On MONDAY, MAY 21st at The Village Sport Shop there will be a basic bike maintenance and bike life workshop where you will learn about tire pressure, how to fix a flat tire and lube a chain, bike safety check, proper bike fit, pre- and post ride stretches, ride nutrition, and how to dress comfortably for riding.
