Abenaki: The First Vermonters

Fee: $5/person. Maria Young, NorthWoods Education and Outreach Director presents on the Abenaki, the first settlers of Vermont. Only a few can trace roots to the very first Vermonters to live in this land. Stretch your imagination through history to the time when the last glaciers receded from Vermont and the first settlers arrived. Learn about hunting and gathering techniques, travel, family and home life, as you follow the tracks of the Abenaki through Vermont. Interesting for the young and old and everyone in between!
