Fee: $20, includes dinner
Join NorthWoods staff on the Tripp Hill Traverse, a 5-km cross-country ski from Echo Lake to the NorthWoods Stewardship Center. The terrain is rolling, and will involve some groomed classic trails as well as some not too ornery bushwhacking. This tour is appropriate for intermediate and adventurous beginner skiers. Fishscales and metal-edges work well but are not required. Enroute, we’ll talk about future projects on this site – including history, conservation, and recreation. We’ll end at NorthWoods, where a full course homemade dinner awaits. Stick around for the Kingdom Coffeehouse following dinner. Bring a backpack with extra layers and a thermos of something warm. Limited skis available.
