He is currently working with friends on his fourth album Places, with songs that are inspired by places on the planet as well as places in the mind. Howie will record the songs in the musical styles of the places the songs are about including a polka from the Italian Alps, a Klezmer song that tells a story of 19th century Poland, A Dixieland tune remembering a trip to New Orleans, and a Puerto Rican folksong. Come hear the influence of the Maple Trees and the world on Howie’s music.
