Cost: $10. In collaboration with the Old Stone House Museum, we are happy to host Lawrence Millman, who will introduce polypores – among the most interesting of all fungi. Some polypores can live for 70 years, some smell like anise, and there’s one that can tip the scales at 300 pounds. They’re also a vibrant part of the ecosystem- without them, the world would be virtually unrecognizable. Come to this event, and celebrate these denizens of our New England forests.
