Greggfest

Joe Gittleman’s Collaborative Creativity in Music Presents:
Greggfest: A Benefit Festival for the Jake Gregg Fund: Bring Back the Music
May 2nd: Doors at 1:00 PM, Show 1:30 PM.
May 3rd: Doors at 11:00 AM, Show 11:30 AM.
Ages
All ages
Ticket Prices
$10.00 One day pass for Friday or Saturday
$15.00 Two day pass with overnight camping
$15.00 Family pass that covers the two day event

Students of Lyndon State College and musicians across New England are collaborating to bring two full days of music to the Lyndon Outing Club. The community will be raising funds for Jake Gregg, who was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and also suffered a stroke last May. Jake is not only a good friend to the community, but a very talented songwriter, musician, and singer of the band, “Suncooked.”

Friday will begin with an assortment of singer songwriters from the Lyndon community and will be followed up with performances by New Hampshire’s Joe Sambo & The Goons, Boston’s Dubbest, and Vermont’s own Electric Sorcery.

Saturday morning will begin with yoga, coffee, and a pancake breakfast with local NEK band Victory Orchard kicking off the music at 11:30am. Directly following the opening act are Massachusetts’s own Jesse Hanson as well as Mostly Commons. Other local bands such as Red Tin Box and Bible Camp Sleepovers will be appearing later in the afternoon. As the evening hours approach, The Brother’s Union will support the headliner, Maine’s very own Rustic Overtones.

The Lyndon State students, part of the Collaborative Creativity in Music class, are hoping that putting on a show that varies from their usual acts will draw a crowd. As the semester comes to a close before the summer season, the class hopes to be able to help their classmate, and friend Jake Gregg who will receive the fundraising that he and his family needs. The show will provide a relaxing environment before summer and finals begin
