 Join us at XIP Training Systems, in the heart of Lyndonville for Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa Flow Classes. The word Hatha means willful or forceful and can be translated as "ha" – sun, and "tha" – moon. This in turn references the balance between the masculine aspects (active, hot, sun) with the feminine aspects(receptive, cool, moon) within all of us. Hatha yoga draws inspiration from a wide range of yoga styles and backgrounds. This style of yoga joins asanas (physical postures) with pranayama (breath), creating an internal flow for the practice. These classes work on balancing strength and flexibility in our physical bodies while also drawing our attention to our breath in order to help us still the fluctuations of the mind and be more present in the unfolding of each moment. Not sure what to expect from a class? Our Hatha Yoga classes are all levels classes lasting for 75 minutes. Bring a mat or use one of ours. Wear loose, comfortable clothing that you can easily move in. A Hatha Yoga class is both a great place to begin as well as to challenge yourself!

Spring Volunteer Cleanup Day

 The tasks that we take on during this day will contribute to the present and future wellbeing of the animals, and the quality future of the Sanctuary.  It will be challenging, yet immensely rewarding work where you will get to see the results and know in your heart that you are making a positive impact on the lives of others

 

Please park in the Inn parking lot to the left of the brick building and walk in to the Sanctuary yard.

We will begin by having everyone check-in in the Sanctuary yard, followed by a brief tour beginning at 10am.
 

Work will commence following the tour at 10:30am

Our full schedule for the day:

9:30-10am: Arrive and check-in
10:30-12:30: Work
12:30-1: Lunch time
1-2:30: Final work segment
2:30-3:15: You are welcome to wander about the property and visit with the animals

This will be a very physical day. We will be raking, shoveling, sweeping, and more.
Please dress accordingly with clothing and close-toed shoes that you are comfortable getting dirty, hat and gloves if you would like.
We cannot guarantee what the weather will be like, so please be prepared with layers, rain jacket or rubber boots if need be, however, we are hoping sunscreen will be the necessity!

Please bring a lunch and snack, as you will assuredly work up an appetite. We have many places about the property to enjoy your meal, and take in all of the lovely sights, smells and sounds of the property, animals and nature.

This event is open to everyone aged 12 and up.
We do require that children/teens aged 12-18 yrs old have an adult present and working with them.

 Join us at XIP Training Systems, in the heart of Lyndonville for Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa Flow Classes. The word Hatha means willful or forceful and can be translated as "ha" – sun, and "tha" – moon. This in turn references the balance between the masculine aspects (active, hot, sun) with the feminine aspects(receptive, cool, moon) within all of us. Hatha yoga draws inspiration from a wide range of yoga styles and backgrounds. This style of yoga joins asanas (physical postures) with pranayama (breath), creating an internal flow for the practice. These classes work on balancing strength and flexibility in our physical bodies while also drawing our attention to our breath in order to help us still the fluctuations of the mind and be more present in the unfolding of each moment. Not sure what to expect from a class? Our Hatha Yoga classes are all levels classes lasting for 75 minutes. Bring a mat or use one of ours. This in turn references the balance between the masculine aspects (active, hot, sun) with the feminine aspects(receptive, cool, moon) within all of us. Hatha yoga draws inspiration from a wide range of yoga styles and backgrounds. This style of yoga joins asanas (physical postures) with pranayama (breath), creating an internal flow for the practice. These classes work on balancing strength and flexibility in our physical bodies while also drawing our attention to our breath in order to help us still the fluctuations of the mind and be more present in the unfolding of each moment. Not sure what to expect from a class? Our Hatha Yoga classes are all levels classes lasting for 75 minutes. Bring a mat or use one of ours. Mindfulness 6-week Series - Part 2

$75 per person for 6 week series. If you find you struggle with stress, anxiety or depression, judge yourself or others too harshly, and feel the need for change, ~ this 6-week series may be right for you.
Each 90 minute session will focus on breathing practices, meditation, and movement to improve your overall wellness. Through mindful practices that deepen the connection between what the body experiences and how the mind translates that experience, participants can begin to:

• reduce negative thinking patterns

 Join us at XIP Training Systems, in the heart of Lyndonville for Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa Flow Classes. The word Hatha means willful or forceful and can be translated as "ha" – sun, and "tha" – moon. This in turn references the balance between the masculine aspects (active, hot, sun) with the feminine aspects(receptive, cool, moon) within all of us. Hatha yoga draws inspiration from a wide range of yoga styles and backgrounds. This style of yoga joins asanas (physical postures) with pranayama (breath), creating an internal flow for the practice. These classes work on balancing strength and flexibility in our physical bodies while also drawing our attention to our breath in order to help us still the fluctuations of the mind and be more present in the unfolding of each moment. Not sure what to expect from a class? Our Hatha Yoga classes are all levels classes lasting for 75 minutes. Bring a mat or use one of ours. Wear loose, comfortable clothing that you can easily move in. A Hatha Yoga class is both a great place to begin as well as to challenge yourself!
