 Kingdom Adventures Mountain Guides is proud to serve as the sponsor and instructional provider of SOLO wilderness medicine courses in Northern Vermont. The two-day Wilderness First Aid (WFA) course is SOLO's most popular creating a solid foundation in the basics of backcountry medical care. Initially offered in 1975, this course was the first of its kind in the United States, and it is the curriculum upon which all other backcountry medicine courses are based. SOLO CPR certification is included as a part of all WFA courses. This is a great course for mountain bikers, hikers, climbers, backpackers, backcountry skiers and other outdoor enthusiasts who venture out for day and weekend trips. ShoeFly Trail Explore Series

 Join us at XIP Training Systems, in the heart of Lyndonville for Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa Flow Classes. The word Hatha means willful or forceful and can be translated as "ha" – sun, and "tha" – moon. This in turn references the balance between the masculine aspects (active, hot, sun) with the feminine aspects(receptive, cool, moon) within all of us. Hatha yoga draws inspiration from a wide range of yoga styles and backgrounds. This style of yoga joins asanas (physical postures) with pranayama (breath), creating an internal flow for the practice. These classes work on balancing strength and flexibility in our physical bodies while also drawing our attention to our breath in order to help us still the fluctuations of the mind and be more present in the unfolding of each moment. Not sure what to expect from a class? Our Hatha Yoga classes are all levels classes lasting for 75 minutes. Bring a mat or use one of ours. Wear loose, comfortable clothing that you can easily move in. A Hatha Yoga class is both a great place to begin as well as to challenge yourself!

Lyndon Farmers' Market

The Lyndon Farmers’ Market has been operating for nearly ten years, and has grown to provide one of the most enjoyable farmers market experiences in the Northeast Kingdom. Over 15 vendors meet every Friday afternoon at beautiful Bandstand Park from May through October. We sell locally grown and made Vermont products, including fresh vegetables and fruits, quality meats, eggs, artisan breads, baked goods, ethnic foods, herbs, plants, flowers, arts and crafts, and maple syrup. Bandstand Park is filled with large shade trees, a fountain, and plenty of room for kids to run and play while parents stroll from tasty cinnamon buns to crisp lettuce and brightly colored carrots. Queens of the Kingdom - Women's MTB Skills Weekend





 Join us for a women’s mountain bike skills building weekend, focused on ample 1 on 1 attention with all female instructors. Are you hoping to improve your skills with like-minded women, in a beautiful setting? Group sizes are MAX 30 women per session (we work with a 5:1 rider to instructor ratio), ensuring that every attendee receives individual attention in order to maximize skills building, riding time, and FUN!

 Restorative yoga enables deep relaxation as you hold poses for longer periods of time with the help of props to completely support you. It also helps you to regain calm balance and soothe tired muscles.

Reiki translates as : spiritually guided life force energy. Energy can become stagnant when there has been physical or emotional injury or pain. Reiki helps to remove these areas of stagnation, improving energy flow, providing relaxation, and reducing stress.

This workshop is held by Karen Zaun Kennedy and Janice Narey. Karen leads participants into restorative yoga poses, and Janice provides Reiki while the poses are held.  Join us at XIP Training Systems, in the heart of Lyndonville for Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa Flow Classes. The word Hatha means willful or forceful and can be translated as "ha" – sun, and "tha" – moon. This in turn references the balance between the masculine aspects (active, hot, sun) with the feminine aspects(receptive, cool, moon) within all of us. Hatha yoga draws inspiration from a wide range of yoga styles and backgrounds. This style of yoga joins asanas (physical postures) with pranayama (breath), creating an internal flow for the practice. These classes work on balancing strength and flexibility in our physical bodies while also drawing our attention to our breath in order to help us still the fluctuations of the mind and be more present in the unfolding of each moment. KT Kids Rides
5:30 PM - 7:00 PM





 

This is a guided ride on the Kingdom Trails network for kids from ages 8-14. Your child must arrive equipped with a safely functioning bike that has at least 6 gear options, and hand brakes. As well as proper attire, a bike helmet, water and nutrition that they can carry themselves.
Parents are welcome to join the fun, but it is not necessary, unless your child needs one on one attention or there is a question as to whether they may be able to stay with the group.
Participation is free for Kingdom Trails members and $5 for non- KT members.
Ride locations will vary weekly (on the KT Network and the Burke Mountain Bike Park) and each monthly schedule is posted on the KT Kids Ride Facebook page and through email. Drop off and pick up locations vary week to week.
The ride may be cancelled due to wet conditions or forecasted rain/lightening. That will be posted by noon of the day of the ride, once again by Facebook and email.
