Snowmobiling

 

If you want to snowmobile where the most snow falls in Vermont, hit the snowmobile trails in Burke! Many of our lodging establishments offer direct access to the VAST trails and only minutes to gas and food. Some of the best riding in the Kingdom is right in the Burke Area. Just minutes to the 'Pipeline' and the Power Line trails. Island Pond is a nice 30-40 minute ride, that of course depends on how you like to ride!  You'll want to park you trailer here and take a couple day trips up North to Canaan or Jay and come back in the evening and experience Burke where you'll find entertainment at the Tamarack Grill. You may even want to take a day to play in Burke on the ski mountain.

 

The Vermont Association of Snow Travelers (VAST) has all the information you'll need for your snowmobile trip - refresh yourself on the Vermont laws for snowmobiling. Don't forget that you need insurance on your snowmobile in order to register your snowmobile and ride in Vermont.
