Powers Park and VIS are so very excited to announce that Kingdom Trails is spreading the love to our program and to our community kids!
KT is volunteering their time, their supplies, their knowledge, and their love for the community and all things bikes in order to redo our pump track! They are sending some of their amazing trail crew our way on Aug 9th and 10th. We are calling all volunteers that would like to be part of this exciting project to come work with KT staff and Powers Park staff to get this project rolling! If you love bikes, kids, or want a place to work on those bike skills, we want you!
Bring your shovels, rakes, and positives vibes to Powers Park on Saturday Aug 10, 2019 from 9AM-12PM.
We will open the pool to our volunteers to cool off when the work is done from 12:30-1:30! Great way to rinse off before heading over to Kingdom Trails 25th Birthday Celebration/ retro ride and Bike and Brew fest! Talk about a fun filled day of giving back and the perfect way to earn those brews (for the over 21 crowd, of course)!
Let’s do it for the kids!
See you there!
