About Us

 

Georgia Gould - Georgia raced bikes professionally for over 10 years and is a two-time Olympian (Bronze – London 2012) and multi-time US National Mountain Bike Champion. She has been a member of the UCI Mountain Bike Commission, and has been an outspoken advocate for equality for female cyclists. Georgia and her husband welcomed their daughter into the world in 2017 and a son in 2020. Georgia and her family moved to East Burke in 2018, and they love life in small-town Vermont. For the past 3 years Georgia the managed logistics for the Rally professional cycling team. When she isn’t on a bike, you can find her on skis (DH or XC) or just running after her 2 kids.

 

Sara Bresnick - Sara brings over 10 years of cycling camp/touring experience to Idyll Cycling. She runs all-inclusive cycling camps throughout the US for cyclists of all abilities. Sara was working as an Orthopedic Physical Therapist when she was bitten by the cycling bug. She spent 10 years competing professionally throughout the US and abroad. In 2008, as her cycling career was ending she founded Pedal Power Training Solutions (pedalpowertraining.com). Sara currently coaches cyclists of all abilities and disciplines and performs bio-mechanical bicycle fittings. She has been working with Ride Studio Cafe/Ride Headquarters for 4 years helping clients get fit properly for custom made bicycles. Sara is also a race promoter and runs a cycling team out of Eastern MA.
