Whether your travels bring you to Vermont for a restful reprieve or an adventurous escape, our property in the heart of charming East Burke Village offers easy access to the best of the Northeast Kingdom. Nestled on Dish Mill Brook, our eight-room Inn and three bedroom farmhouse offer unique accommodations, cozy common space, friendly hospitality and a sprawling backyard - the perfect setting for many a memorable stay.
All of our guestrooms come equipped with private baths, AC, WiFi and cable TV. Select rooms, such as our Farmhouse and our Studio, have eat-in kitchens, and all guests have access to our community kitchen area. Additional amenities include indoor bike and ski storage, a bike wash station, a jacuzzi tub (perfect for post-ride R&R!), and our cozy and communal common spaces including outdoor fire pits, our vegetable garden and access to Dish Mill Brook.

Biking
The Village Inn is situated in the heart of the Kingdom Trails network, hundreds of miles of Nationally recognized Mountain Biking trails. The Inn is located three hundred yards from the main office of The Kingdom Trails and a stones throw from several trail heads. Our indoor Bike Room and Bike Wash Station, make The Village Inn the prime location for your next KT adventure.
Nordic and Alpine Skiing
The Inn is Located ¼ mile from Burke Mountain Ski Resort and ½ mile from the Kingdom Trails Nordic Center. In addition to these two excellent venues...Jay Peak, Smuggler’s Notch, Stow, Killington, and Bolton Valley are all within an hour drive.
Snowmobiling
The Village Inn is Located on trail 52 near the intersection of 54 and 54A, in the Middle of East Burke Village on the VAST trail network. We can accommodate multiple vehicles with trailers in our large parking lot for easy comings and goings. We currently do not have direct trail access; however there is a trail access 500 yards up the road with ample parking for trailers.
