Throughout Vermont, we treasure our agricultural heritage and working farms and as much as possible we include the foods they produce on our kitchen tables. The Burke area is home to many farmers and food producers who make everything from salad dressing to beer. The Lyndonville Farmers' market has a winter and summer market so you can purchase local produce and specialty foods all year long. It's also a wonderful chance to connect with neighbors and meet local farmers. A visit to one of our farms is a must do for your Vermont vacation and also a chance to purchase eggs fresh from the chicken, grass fed beef, or just meet some goats, pigs, or cows. Just be sure to call ahead first to let them know you're coming.
Firefly Farm at Burke Hollow is a small family farm cultivating a way of “being” that nourishes our community with locally grown foods, a practice of mindfulness, and a space to enjoy the beautiful NEK. We offer CSA memberships, a farm stand, mindfulness classes, maple syrup, and a variety of events on the farm.
Beginning June 1st: Our on-site farmstand will be open daily 10am-7pm. We encourage you to pre-order!
Beginning June 6th: Our mobile farmstand will be on the Burke Mountain Club lawn in East Burke on Saturdays from 3-6pm.
