BURKE AREA EVENTS

Open House at Lyndon Institute

 Prospective students and their parents or guardians are invited to join us on campus for Lyndon Institute’s annual Open House on November 9th from 5:00 pm-7:30 pm. Throughout the evening, you will be able to explore academic, artistic, athletic, and extracurricular opportunities. Faculty and current students will be available for tours and questions. The evening will commence with fall refreshments and giveaways.

The American Ballet Theatre (ABT) is considered one of the greatest dance companies in the world, revered as a living national treasure since its founding in 1939. Few ballet companies rival ABT in size, scope, and outreach. The American Ballet Theatre Studio Company seeks to develop the next generation of ballet dancers, choreographers and audiences. SOLO Wilderness First Aid & CPR





 The two-day Wilderness First Aid (WFA) course is SOLO's most popular creating a solid foundation in the basics of backcountry medical care. Initially offered in 1975, this course was the first of its kind in the United States, and it is the curriculum upon which all other backcountry medicine courses are based. SOLO CPR certification is included as a part of all WFA courses. This is a great course for mountain bikers, hikers, climbers, backpackers, backcountry skiers and other outdoor enthusiasts who venture out for day and weekend trips. Only current SOLO WFR graduates may use the SOLO WFA to recertify a current WFR certification.
