 On Thursday, July 4th at 3 PM the lake will come to life with the Annual Boat Parade. And thanks to the community for voting on our 2024 theme: Under the Sea. Anyone with a boat is welcome to participate in this family-friendly event. This is a great opportunity to show your creativity-- Prizes will be awarded!

All Women's Volunteer Dig Day

 Once a month, Kingdom Trails hosts a Volunteer Trail Work Day where community members and visitors get a taste of what it takes to build and maintain the trail network! Caped at 20 participants, these tend to fill up fast!

We will announce each session 2-3 weeks in advance. Email us at info@kingdomtrails.org to be added to the volunteer list! Check back for more info on this date!

Remember to wear clothes suitable for a workday: close-toed shoes, sturdy pants or shorts, and a shirt you don't mind getting dirty. We'll celebrate with pizza and seltzers at the end of the day!

SOLO Wilderness First Aid Certification

The two-day Wilderness First Aid (WFA) course is SOLO's most popular creating a solid foundation in the basics of backcountry medical care. Initially offered in 1975, this course was the first of its kind in the United States, and it is the curriculum upon which all other backcountry medicine courses are based.  Newark Fire is hosting a BBQ fundraiser in conjunction with the Newark Street Union Meeting House. Sunday July 28th from 11AM to 3PM at the Newark Street School Fields, 1448 Newark Street, Newark VT.
Be sure to attend the Newark Street Union Meeting House's Old Home Day service at 10:30AM and then head across the street for lunch!
Menu: Burgers, hot dogs, side salads, chips, soft drinks, assorted desserts
Cost: By donation to the Newark Volunteer Fire Department. Cash, credit/debit cards, and checks accepted.

 A guided ride on the Kingdom Trails network for kids from ages 8-14. This time in 2024, Kingdom Camps and KT have teamed up to keep KT Kids Ride rolling! Come join in the fun each week and explore a different part of the KT network!
