Live Music: Glorious Leader

Glorious Leader is the musical project of Vermont-based songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Kyle Woolard. Writing and recording from his cabin in Glover, deep in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom, Woolard creates songs that flow naturally from quiet acoustic narratives to lush, orchestral-rock arrangements and vibrant pop melodies. His music "builds a vivid, tactile world" and "[bristles] with creativity and courage," writes Seven Days. Richly textured yet immediately accessible, Glorious Leader’s songs balance familiarity and like-nothing-else originality, combining thoughtful introspection with a restless curiosity about humanity and the wider world. His live performances, described as "an absolute gem" (Rutland Herald), showcase Woolard’s compelling presence, honest storytelling, and memorable melodies. His releases include My Kingdom (2018), The Analog Cabin Mystery (2021), and How I Made my First Million (2024). He has played in over 20 countries and is recording an album on every continent!
